It’s important for us to understand who our residents are and remember that they have had long and interesting lives. When we know people well, our natural compassion comes through in the way that we care for them.
We understand that the decision to move yourself or your relative into care isn’t an easy one to make. Many of the families we have supported through this experience have been dealing with intense feelings of loss, particularly where dementia is involved. Our priority is to provide support and reassurance, helping you through those difficult conversations and decisions.
Our care and support are truly person centred. For us, this is more than just ensuring that your physical needs are met. Your emotional health and wellbeing is important, too, and we organise a varied programme of twice-daily activities to keep you energised and entertained.
We have worked hard to develop a culture of openness and trust. Many of our residents are very frail and vulnerable, so it is vital that they and their families have complete confidence in the care they receive here.
