Comfortable rooms

Maples has 74 generously sized ensuite bedrooms spread over three floors. Each is equipped with an adjustable automatic bed with a handset control for your comfort, a wardrobe, lockable bedside cabinet, chest of drawers/dressing table, cosy armchair, a nurse-call system, TV and free Wi-Fi. To help you feel at home from day one, we encourage you and your family to personalise your room with photos as well as favourite ornaments and small items of furniture.

All our bright, comfortable rooms have large windows with attractive views, and some ground- floor rooms also have doors that open out onto the garden.

Our residential and nursing care residents live on the ground floor, where those who are more mobile can get around easily from their own room to the dining room and lounge. On our second floor we provide specialist care to people living with dementia while the third floor is home to residents whose symptoms of dementia are more advanced or who are receiving palliative care. Our staff are highly trained and experienced, and our genuine passion for caring for people is very much appreciated by our residents and their relatives.

We understand the importance of a welcoming environment and the impact it has on our residents’ emotional wellbeing, so in addition to all the advanced facilities you would expect from a modern care facility, we are proud to have created a warm and homely feel that you will experience from the moment you walk through the door.
